   Beautiful experience for me and my teenage kids. The only hiccups were in seating and initial wait time. Other than that, we couldn’t stop raving about the food!

   The food tastes great! The tonkotsu ramen was delicious, as was the sushi. The service was not so good. The host was doubling as a server, so when we arrived, there wasn’t anybody at the host stand and we waited for a while. Once sat, the server came infrequently, so we tried our best to ask for everything all at once.

   Disappointed that restaurant did no read note that we were celebrating a birthday. They had no Shochu and no mochi. The staff was just not very receptive or warm to customers.

   We ordered cocktails and food on Saturday night for 4. After waiting a long time to order the cocktails, our appetizers and ramen for 3 and cocktails all came at the same time. Then another 45 min wait for the 4th person’s sushi dinner. We were told after the fact that it was a “free flowing kitchen” and how many orders were ahead of ours. Perhaps, but maybe the hostess should not put her sushi order in during dinner rush while customers are waiting for theirs. Nothing about this was “free or flowing”. It was a mess. Expensive for just ok and not going back.

   I've been here several times. This last time the service was terrible. The server was MIA most of the time, rolled her eyes at us, overcharged for drinks, and was just unpleasant. The food is good. The happy hour menu is decent, but I noticed the servers trying to avoid giving happy hour drink prices by not coming back before it ends. This happened to me twice here.

   I truly enjoyed myself. My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday and so we did. I’m not a sushi person but I tried it and it was great. The service was excellent.

   Food was good but service was not. It was also loud and the bright neon snorlax in the back ruined the ambience. Waitress seemed almost uninterested in doing her job and didn’t bother to raise her voice to be heard over the music. In fact the vibe of the staff was pretty miserable except for one person who helped us place an order to take out after our meal and also said goodbye to us as we were walking out. Every other staff member almost seemed to avert their eyes in order to avoid having to respond and provide as might result from an interaction.

    Great food, not so great service. It was hard to get the attention of the waitress & my spicy tuna crisps took 34 minutes to be delivered….unclear what happened because no one apologized or said anything.
