J Sheekey Outside Terrace is a private oasis in the heart of Covent Garden, around the corner from the cinemas of Leicester Square, the museums of Trafalgar Square, 5 minutes from Charing Cross and a stone’s throw from the west end theatres. J Sheekey Outside Terrace specialises in shellfish and small plates of fish and vegetables, with Oysters served in various guises. Chef Andy McClay has put together a menu especially for the terrace and has added a section dedicated to lobster Please note that your reservation will be allocated on the outside terrace and the table will be available for 1.5 hours.

Excellent to be outside in the summer and the lobster teriyaki was excellent as was everything else. Service excelled and as I was in a rush it was three courses in 75 mins-but could of course have stayed longer. Great value part of Sheekey.

Booked online , arrived on time only to be told we couldn’t have a table as they were closed for a private function. Why except the reservation in the first place ?
