    It’s become our #1 romantic and couples place to go! We were seated for a 6pm reservation right away.. we had mai tais, catch if the day over ravioli, and tri-seafood.. the sauces, cooking and plating was wonderful! What a great experience!

    Most incredible food. All three of us were extremely pleased and commended the chef and sous chef who was also our waiter! the only thing keeping it from A+ across the board was the noisy drainage grates folks drive over to enter the entrance/street as we were seated closest to it and it was absurdly noisy and the city should fix it. You jumped from the noice almost every time someone drove in.

The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, flavorful, and just the right temperature. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s expertise. The ambiance was inviting and pleasant, although it leaned a bit on the noisy side. But honestly, I was so captivated by that beautifully prepared steak that the noise faded into the background. If you’re looking for a place that delivers a stellar meal with a relaxed vibe, Jackie Rey’s is a must-visit. Highly recommended by our concierge and we agree -1000%

    The staff was rude and didn’t care about guests. Hard to believe that they still expect tip after being unfriendly and rude the whole evening!

    The foru oof us sat at the bar and were served by Ezekiel. He was an excellent bartender and waiter in one! Great conversation, excellent recommendations. We return every time we are on the Island and bring friends and family. Highly suggest you try it out.

    We put together a meal of pupus and salads, and each one was a winner! The clam chowder is memorable, and the tiny loaf of bread, likewise. Salad vegetables are super fresh and locally grown. Our server was personable and knowledgeable. Worth a repeat, for sure!

    We have been here many times, and it never disappoints! This was the best meal we had in the 3 weeks we were in the Kona area!
