We made a reservation on August 13, 2024 for August 14, 2024 for the Vernon Hills location of Jameson’s Charhouse via OpenTable. Arrived for the reservation only to find the restaurant empty and all signs removed from the premises. The only indication of the restaurant was a paper sign on the door advising patrons to visit their other locations. My nephew who met us there googled and found that the location closed on August 1, 2024! Why on earth were we able to make a reservation nearby two weeks after it closed!?!?

We like going to Jamesons. The menu is good and the drinks are good too. We meet our old neighbors for dinner. It is really a good place. Martini Old Fashion French Onion Soup Steaks Shrimp De Jonghe We like the Gold Brick Sundae but were too stuffed. It is our first choice⭐️

Four out of 8 of us ordered steak medium rare and all for of us got either medium to medium well. These were filets so the taste was not good either. One person ordered her meat medium and it came out rare to medium rare. Not very busy when we ate and took almost 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine and a couple of drinks. Very disappointed and won’t be going back for a long time.

Outside of the mahi mahi. Food was atrocious. Would never go back. It was all tasteless. We boxed everything and left. Ambience was old and tired. I don’t think we’ll ever go back. Stoney River ftw!

Always everything was perfect. They will do anything to make you happy! The brownie ice cream desert off-charts great. Service is outstanding also.

My wife and I each had a Greek salad, which was very good and contained a lot of ingredients. We also had a small piece of tiramisu for dessert which was really tasty.. This is a neighborhood gem!
