   A nice atmosphere and decor, tables were well set out with ample space around. Food was tasty; the black pudding scotch egg was nicely cooked, with a runny yolk. The mushroom risotto was perfect albeit a little expensive - probably due to the truffle. Partner ate from the set menu, which was exceptionally good value. I would definitely return if eating in the area again.

   Underwhelming. Food was poor for the price - we expected quality and received barely adequate. The starter wasn’t bad, main course was over seasoned and undercooked and the dessert was really disappointing. Shame as it was our final meal in London and we were looking forward to it.

   Second visit this time lunch set menu brilliant very warm welcome, food was excellent and again faultless service. We will be back. PS were seeing play at Drury Lane. This restaurant could not be more convenient being contiguous to the theatre.

   Our second visit in as many months after we heard of their infamous chicken and rabbit pie! It was yummy on both occasions and lived up to the hype. The mash was soo good too as were the starters we sampled. The restaurant has a wonderful warm, calming relaxed ambience which is elevated by the exceptionally kind nature and politeness of all the staff hence why we returned so quickly and will do so again.

    Second time but first dinner experience and wasn’t as impressed as the lunchtime service before Christmas. Scallops starter was overcooked and server wasn’t happy about us sending it back but manager rectified the issue by removing from the bill at the end of the meal. Still a good meal but a very different and not as impressive experience as the first time
