Great atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Well versed at dealing with the pre-theatre crowd. We enjoyed all our food; the mushroom risotto was particularly tasty.

I like Jamie Oliver and his cooking ideas so was disappointed by the menu. Just seemed like British pub grub. The restaurant is nice if a bit too bright- not keen on spot lights. Have to say was disappointed too by the response when I requested if we could change our booking as we got there an hour early. We were told to sit at the bar and they would see what they could do. The restaurant was only half full though out our visit. We waited 45 minutes to eventually be taken to one of the empty tables. They seemed short staffed.
We left at 9.30 the place was nearly empty. It was a Wednesday night but still surprising.
Food was ok (they forgot one item) but I think The Ivy does this type of food better. If Jamie ever reads these comments I would ask him to get involved an make the food and the place more reflective of him and his TV shows - especially as it has his name on the door.

The overall experience was really good, and the fixed price menu offered excellent value, but felt the drinks were expensive!

I started out a bit disappointed, only because my heart was set on trying a Sunday roast and I found out they are prepared with garlic—something I’m allergic to (I had listed this allergy in my reservation the week before). But the manager came out and apologized and personally explained what I could have (there were just 2 items without garlic, but they both sounded good). Then she made sure to bring me a Yorkshire pudding so I could taste something traditional! Our server Andrea was so helpful , attentive, and kind, and made our dining experience one to remember. The special G & T was out of this world (we had 2 each), and the manager came out at the end and said they were paying for the first round, something we didn’t expect. Love the space—quirky art on the walls, relaxing colors, comfy chairs. I would definitely return (especially if Chef Jamie Oliver was a little less garlic-forward, ha!).
