   Always a pleasure to visit Japanese Grandma's for their delicious, and my favorite, food selections. Service is exceptional; talented entertainment pleasing, appropriate, and enjoyable.

   I am a repeat customer. Nearly every visitor who comes to see me I take there. I had 'girls weekend' last weekend and we all came to enjoy art walk and dinner. This visit was our son who's in college came to visit and my husband joined. Neither of them like any type of fish but found plenty to eat and enjoyed it all. It's becoming a favorite among our guests. Thank you!!

   We loved this friendly spot in a lovely garden. The food was delicious—simple, fresh and nicely presented. A good value for Kauai. We’ll go back soon!

   This is a quaint outdoor restaurant away from the tourist areas of the island. The food was good, the service more than adequate and they had a fantastic musician playing soft guitar music as we dined. It was a lovely evening.

   My wife found a this restaurant’s listing when looking at the area on the internet. The menu was attractive and the location was ideal. It did not disappoint. Very happy we tried the Japanese Grandma’s Cafe.

   Great sushi rolls, pork tonkatsu, and Kauai shrimp! Cute outdoor seating and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

   We enjoyed Miso soup; the Ahi Wonton tacos - really liked the fish + the crunch and the sauce; nigiri set - solid salmon roe and unagi; and finished with the Futamaki roll and a fatty tuna nigiri. Loved the outdoor seating atmosphere with a singer with guitar singing lightly in background (did not overpower conversation). Great dinner!!!!
