Patty was an absolute queen and took such great care of our family during a 75th birthday celebration. Our food was delicious and the fajitas gave me leftovers for days! Such a fun spot and energetic atmosphere, 5/5 will absolutely be back!

Food is always good and reasonably priced. Service and water refills are quick. Best Tex Mex in the Upper East Side.

I called the restaurant to tell them we would be 15 minutes late. We actually arrived 25 minutes late. They graciously held the reservation for us. Everyone was kind. The service is great…attentive but not smothering. Chips and salsa are good. Fish tacos excellent. Ambiance is just what you would expect. A bit loud, but not unpleasant. You can still hear your conversation. I highly recommend Javalina.

Love this place - they give you free chips and salsa! A rare find in NYC Mexican restaurants. Queso is delicious, drinks are good, entrees are good, prices are fair, vibe is cool and relaxed. Very fun and laid back vibe in here, highly recommend for an easy and fun dinner.
