We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

Jax is an outstanding restaurant . The food and service were superb. My wife is especially picky about the freshness of fish and the way it is cooked. She raved about her Cod dish. I had a Tuna dish that was very tasty . The asparagus was notable in that thin stalks were chosen and cooked to perfection. The waiter was attentive, but not overbearing. All sauces were delicious .

We've loved JAX for years. Great quality and unique food offerings. After spending a lot of time working in hospitality business, we know that going out for dinner on Valentines Day is risky. The menu was cut to a prix fix offering which we knew in advance, and trusted the kitchen to do right. However, the food was average. A few notes, the lobster bisque barely qualified as "lobster" flavor. The steak was tough and over cooked, not horribly, but not as expected, and the mousse for dessert was really underwhelming. So, our feeling of going out for a Valentine's dinner is confirmed. However, if you temper your expectations and enjoy the wonderful company of your Valentine, it is still a wonderful night. We are still fans.

The food, presentation and service were very good. We were disappointed that at 6:45 two of the six seafood entrees were unavailable leaving limited options for seafood at a seafood restaurant.

The appetizers were ok to good. The entrees wete very lacking. The pruces were too high fir what you received. The quantity was too small. The serving size of sides were more than the main entry .I was VERY disappointed. Menue choices are poor.

Outstanding in every way. Dinner was delicious. Had the peppercorn crusted tuna and the Thai black cod. Lovef our server, Sarah, who was knowable and offered excellent wine suggestions. We always have a great experience at this restaurant. .

Quiet there tonight, Super Bowl Sunday. Which was nice and everything was amazing.Food was delicious, service was excellent. All in all it was a great experience.

The Jax staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made the whole experience enjoyable. We had some time pressure to make a 7pm curtain, and after conveying this to the staff, they were able to meet our needs — we completed our 4-course meal without having to rush in any way. Bravo! I had the gumbo, which was hearty but not heavy, and the lobster and shrimp roll sandwich, which was a bit under seasoned for me but well prepared. Others in our party had the chowder, which is made to order and was very good — you may need more bread to soak up the excess soup; the crusted Ahi tuna, which was excellent, an especially memorable preparation; and the crab over spaghetti with a side of collared greens, which were also excellent; a variety of tasty Washington state oysters — try the house vinegarette on them; and a small but satisfying birthday brownie with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. The space is not as large as the Denver Jax so definitely make reservations, and, if it's your taste, try the raw bar, seafood towers, and caviar options.
