Designed by the famous chef Roberto Solis and his partner chef Manuel Balan, Jayu is an exclusive Japanese food restaurant with Yucatecan touches, hence the name JA for Japan, YU for Yucatan.
The concept is a 10-seat bar in which interaction is created between the chefs and the diner.
We have 3 menus.
-Nigiris menu.
-Short omakase.
-Long omakase.
We do not share any menu as it changes constantly, as we depend on daily supplies for its preparation, which consists of fish, seafood, meat and poultry.

    Todo excelente, definitivamente volveremos, las explicaciones del chef excelentes y creo por respeto hay que escuchar cada indicación. Desafortunadamente no todos respetan este tipo de experiencias culinarias. Una gran experiencia. Lo único que sí estaría bien es tener un letrero o señalamiento del lugar, pero si nos sorprendieron.

    Excelente lugar es la segunda vez que lo visito y no deja de gustarme, sus nigiris son lo máximo como logran esa fusión de japonés con lo yucateco. Mas que recomendado.

    We had such an amazing experience. We were a little lost at first, but we finally realized we needed to ring the bell on the garage door to have someone let us in. 10/10 recommend!
