Jeffrey's Restaurant & Bar has been an Austin fine dining institution since 1975. In 2012 the restaurant closed for a major renovation and was reopened by McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. The legendary restaurant, nestled in the Clarksville neighborhood just west of downtown, features a lively bar and three distinct dining rooms. The menus, from executive chef Mark McCain, features dry-aged prime steaks, updated classic fine dining, and locally sourced produce. The award-winning wine list, one of the largest and most diverse in Texas, features highly-sought after vintages from Old and New World producers. Private dining in the Napoleon Room and The Apartment is available for special events. Valet service is offered.

The charming neighborhood location, old world service & multiple private dining options make Jeffrey's a true Austin gem. Jeffrey's was named “Top 10 Best New Restaurants” in the country by Bon Appetit magazine in 2013.

A great dinner celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Jeffries always delivers on special occasions. Everyone from the valet, to hostess staff, to wait staff brought their A game last night. Expensive, yes, but very worth it to have a very memorable meal to celebrate. Beautiful done! Thank you.

Amazing service! Only downsides were that we were pretty cold as the place is not really made to keep you warm when Austin is in a freeze… Although the food was really good, we felt like the prices didn’t reflect the quality of our dishes. Very pricey.

Excellent food and service. Sat at the bar, wonderful ambience, bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend the croquettes, the scallops, and the duck breast. Can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with wine in one of Austin's truly fine dining establishments. The Wagyu filet was outstanding and perfectly done. I had the venison entree and it was excellent. We finished the evening with a delightful chocolate soufflé and took advantage of the half off on bottles of wine for Sunday night dining. Highly recommend for special occasions. You get what you pay for be prepared to pay for a grand night. Side note: I thought the restaurant staff handled a loud and profane diner who had over imbibed and was disturbing the dinning rooms ambiance. Very professional staff.

Everything was exceptional! The service, food, and ambiance were all top notch. The only negative was the drunk guy talking extremely loud, but he seemed to be enjoying the 1/2 off bottles of wine.
