   Chez Europea, la nourriture est excellente. Nous y sommes allés à quelques reprises et nous y retournerons également à nouveau. Nous avons opté pour la table gastronomique. Le seul bémol est la rapidité excessive avec laquelle nos premiers plats nous ont été littéralement "bombardés" sur notre table: pas le temps de regarder le menu, ni la carte des vins; c'est BING BANG, VOICI VOS PLATS! Et on était à peine assis...! On aurait mille fois préférer choisir notre vin qui accompagnera notre repas dans un premier temps, puis, après, être servis. De plus, vers la fin du repas, plus personne aux alentours pour verser notre vin... Ceci dit, ça m'a rappelé que la fois d'avant, le service avait également été très expéditif. On aime bien prendre notre temps sans trop prendre de temps...mais il y a expéditif et moins rapide. Merci!

   Assis à côté du vaisselier, face à la rue et des piétons, disons que l'ambiance était ordinaire et distrayante. Le service est certes chorégraphier mais sans âme et trop rapide, on pouvait avoir 4 verres de vins sur la table et pas avoir fini de manger le premier service. La décoration de certains plats est répétitive, car, ils ont trouvé les moules pour faire des feuilles...Je ne recommande pas nécessairement le resto pour les passionnés, les foodies, oui, il y a de belles trouvailles mais sans plus pour nous. La magie n'y était pas ...désolé!

   Every time we travel to Montreal (about once every 2-3 years), we go to this restaurant and have always found the experience to be outstanding. Unfortunately, this was not the case this time. The food was just as beautifully presented as always, but this time, it did not taste nearly as delicious as previously. The highlight of the 9 course menu was probably the fresh brioche bread (which was taken away from our table earlier than we had wanted it to be and it was not offered to have this packaged up to take with us at the end of the meal). The 4th course specifically was disappointingly unappealing (both choices were lacklustre). Just like the bread, the cotton candy (maple flavoured) was taken away from our table earlier than we would have wanted it to be and again, it was not offered to us to take it home with us. Overall, when you are paying $185 for 9 courses, I would expect the whole experience and the food itself to be spectacular and it was not. Previous times we have gone to this restaurant, we would come home with an extra "treat" for the next morning. This time, nothing was offered to take home. I believe it's course 7 when they ask you to go up a rather awkward flight of stairs to go into a little room where they offer a game to get a prize. Although this was a cute idea, going up the stairs is rather inconvenient for some diners like myself who use a cane to walk. No alternative was offered. Overall, the service was not particularly good (unlike previous visits to this restaurant when the service was impeccable). The whole experience this time was disappointing.

   The overall experience was fantastic. We did the 11 course, but should have done the 9 (the 11 course is everything on the menu, so you get to enjoy all the "or" courses). It took about 2 to 2.5 hours. There were small issues that added up throughout the night that took some of the experience away. We always had to ask for another drink or refill of water when we were dry...usually both because we'd finish our drink then drink all of our water waiting lol. There was a large piece of lobster shell in the lobster bisk shot, and biting into that was not pleasant. Between each course, the staff provides new silverware, I had to exchange two on two separate occasions because they were dirty..and not like water spots, but like a chunk of meat and some veggies. Then we had issues ordering drinks (we do not drink wine) and I had to send a simple margarita back twice...because of the request of no salt or sugar on the rim, but here it would come rimmed with salt. All of those little things, and the staff would correct the issue but offer no apology. Not one sorry or anything for the whole night. Almost like their pride was hurt first, and then they would hurry off to fix the issue. All that aside, the food was amazing. The staff was kind and warm. And the evening was very special.

   My boyfriend and I want to thank you for your excellent service and your kind present to celebrate our 2 years anniversary. We made an excellent choice to go at your place for the event MTLàTable. Food was delicious and overall we had a great experience !

   Ma seul critique est le service qui semble un peu brusque. L'explication des plats est rapide et on apporte beaucoup de hors d'œuvre dans le premier service. On fini par se sentir comme un numéro dans une usine qu'un restaurant. L'espace dans la nouvelle localisation aussi est dans la même idée. Je me rappel que les années précédentes dans l'ancienne localisation, l'espace était plus fermé et privé. L'ambiance était plus chaleureuse et j'ai eu des interactions agréables avec le serveur. Il avait aussi pris plus de temps pour expliquer et nous faire vivre l'expérience. La force de se restaurant est de faire vivre une expérience. Elle doit être savoureuse dans une ambiance chaleureuse pour réussir.

    Belle carte du MtlaTable, un + pour le serveur qui a demandé la raison de notre souper, ma conjointe a eu un cadeau pour sa fête, un - aussi car il ne mentionne pas le prix du vin qui offre avec les mets. Endroit chaleureux, a recommander.
