   Went out for a date night, right from the beginning to end the service was amazing! I had put in a special request, unfortunately that didnt happen but everything else made up for it! got a cozy table, the food was really good, especially the cake tier, which was the star of the evening! Crab dip was super fresh and delicious .The ambience was perfect and the interior with the trees was a nice touch. The Mango Mai Tai was tasty as well! Great service, I think it deserves a second mention!

   Thank you to the Joeys staff for helping me execute my surprise dinner with my maid of honor! I had requested to be seated somewhere nice and had them keep a box for me which was then brought out later. My sister in law was so surprised and so happy. Our food and drinks were fantastic! The staff were just as excited as me! Thanks team for all your support!

   Great service. Great vibes. Blackened Chicken was bland. Steak was bland. Staff made up for sub par kitchen.

   The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, however it was slightly on the noisy side (although this is expected for a downtown restaurant on a Saturday night). The food was beautifully cooked, and all guests were surprised with a complementary glass of sparkling wine (likely to celebrate the opening of the restaurant). The only disappointment was that the reservation mentioned it being a birthday, and this wasn't acknowledged by the hostess or server.

    We had a lovely weekend in Toronto planned. The nutcracker ballet in the afternoon, Dinner reservations at Joey Restaurant on King St, and then the Distillery Winter Village after dinner. We had a reservation for 5pm. We were seated and not one wait staff came to take our drink order or food order. The table behind us on each side had wait staff tend to them, even having 3 waitresses there at one time, but not one checked on us to see if we wanted anything. Our menu’s were set on the side of the table to indicate we were ready to order. We sat there for 40 minutes before we finally got up and left. A waitress stopped as we were getting our coats on and said “thanks for stopping by”. I’m not rude so I didn’t say anything to her but I wanted to say, “stopping by is all we did!” So not happy! We ended up going to the Keg instead where we luckily got seats at the bar .
