   I had a great experience all around! The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Their Old Fashioned and Negroni are stellar, and the top sirloin steak is one of the best I've ever had!

   Came in for a light lunch, stayed for the amazing happy hour!! The drinks were so good- thank you to bartenders Khalil and Jordan for being great hosts!

   PROS: Food variety -- I appreciated the wide variety of food offered on the menu. Prices were somewhat reasonable but a bit high across the board for what it was, other than the steak and seafood. CONS: Service -- Made a reservation and our party was not seated for 15 minutes, as we saw other guests that came after us being seated before us. As the food came out, three of the four dishes came out together, but we waited another 10 minutes for the last dish. We weren't able to locate our waiter to ask for an update, though we saw the plate sitting on the expo station for a while. My food was seasoned well, but the rest of my party commented that their food was underseasoned. Service could have been a bit more attentive. I appreciated them checking in at the end, but by then we were ready to get our check and leave. For the price and the ambiance it boasted, the service and food were a bit underwhelming. We don't see ourselves coming back here for another special occasion.

   Joey Manhattan Beach is amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and has something for everyone. The service is top-notch, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. Perfect spot for a date night or a casual dinner. Highly recommend!

   Terrific all around. Never noticed how the TV monitors above the bar lifted and were hidden in the ceiling at lunchtime opening the space up and making it very communal. As it it should be.
