    Always a great lunch at Joey’s my new favorite place to lunch in Newport Beach. It is definitely the seen and be seen scene! Our server Jamie and the manager Darin are the best

    The noise is way beyond “energetic.” It is TOO LOUD. Cannot conduct a decent conversation. The service was a tad slow (looked like a kitchen issue) but otherwise fine.

    My Butter chicken did t have any naan. I asked for it but by the time it arrived my food was cold. We also ordered the steak and sushi and the rice that made the roll was dried out and hard. Literally tasted hours old. When I booked my table I specifically asked for standard seating and we were seated at a high top outside. It made no sense as other tables were open. When I asked to be seated at another table, the girl seemed confused. BTW no one was seated at the tables I was referring to all night. It wasn’t like they were being held for another reservation. I have been to Joey lots and my husband is there a couple times a week because of the vicinity and usually good food and service. I have to admit I will be eating elsewhere.
