   So I am giving my review a three star because I do feel like the service was good and the ambiance was nice. We were seated in a side wine room which had no other patrons. The main room of the restaurant had only one other group of 6-8 people at the time. That is to say, it was not crowded, nor was it a late reservation. We arrived at 6:35 for a 6:45 reservation and were seated fairly quickly. We were given ample time with the menu to decide on wine and food. None of our party had been to Jolo previously. After ordering, our food arrived in less than 10 minutes, which surprised us. We had barely tasted the wine. All of us ordered a risotto-based dish. We each had risotto that was undercooked. (We all know it takes a lot of time to make risotto!) Two of us ordered the butternut squash and mushroom risotto, topped with seafood. My dish had three pieces of undercooked butternut squash (crunchy) and no mushrooms, The scallops that topped the risotto were cooked perfectly. We brought this to the attention of our waitress and one of the managers came to our table to discuss the issue. He was very nice. He offered to remake our dish so we could take it home, or give us 25% off of our entrees. We opted for the 25% discount since we were traveling from out of town. That covered the cost of the bottle of wine. Jolo came highly recommended! The service was nice but the food was lacking. Undercooked, no depth of flavor. Hoping it was just an off night.

   Excellent. Really enjoyed the wine tasting before dinner with Levi who was very informative Food and ambience was excellent

   We always love the food. The red wines are great tasting but for NC vineyards pricey. The parking still needs work especially when it rains. We had an aweful time this year due to the rain. I know that can’t be helped. BUT they also had a wine pickup party the same weekend as Valentines which made the night very busy. The poor wait staff had to bring food out in the rain the the outside seating since there is no cover.

   Valentines dinner was amazing! Food was outstanding and as always, Cat provided excellent service. Love JoLo Sangria as well!

   We go there frequently as its just a few miles from our home. The food is great, the service is always a 5 out of 5 and Never been disappointed. If you want a great meal, great service in a upscale atmosphere, this is the place. Its a great place to celebrate an anniversary, birthday or just enjoy one of the best meals with a scenic view and the best chef’s and waitstaff. We go there usually weekly and never been disappointed.

   We truly enjoyed our dinner and wine tasting. The staff was wonderful the food and wine delicious! Levi was exceptional and a pleasure to have for our wine tasting experience. He is extremely knowledgeable not only about the wine itself but every bit of the process from start to finish.
