    The food was incredible, we absolutely loved every course. Our favorites were the Amish yellow chicken, the venison, and the charcoal and chocolate. If you’re in the DC area, Jônt is a must see location. The staff are so focused on their guests. Within one course they noted my husband was a leftie and set his silverware accordingly. They kept our wine, champagne, and water filled throughout the night. Truly a unique and wonderful location.

    We had a great experience from start to finish. We were here to celebrate a birthday, which was noted in the reservation. The staff put great effort into details of our experience not only in the food and service but also ensured it was custom and personal to a birthday celebration.

    The food and service were amazing! Entering the restaurant, tucked upstairs of another restaurant on a busy street, really feels like taking a journey away from the cold and your worries. It’s warm, cozy, with many delicious smells and a cool kitchen setup, with an open fire for cooking the meats. Our only complaint was the obnoxiously loud pop music. Very random assortment of songs and it was hard to hear the servers describe the food or to talk among ourselves even. We asked for it to be turned down, and they did a little, but would not any further because of the ambiance they were trying to achieve. Going into the dessert bar area was a relief, much quieter there. The food was amazing, creative, beautiful, delicious, but we would not go back for the price tag because the ambiance wasn’t for us.

    EXCELLENT in all ways except one. I found the music to be a bit too loud. It was fine when I was eating or talking with the person next to me, but when the staff behind the counter was talking to me about wines and the food, I had a hard time hearing because of the music. If it was turned down just a bit that would be nice. FYI, my hearing is fine.
