   We were warmly greeted by the owner and seated immediately. The variety of tea allows for any taste to be accommodated. The food and tea were brought in a timely fashion and everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend…will definitely be back, especially for some of the upcoming events!

   Our waitress was the perfect amount of kind and she checked in on us the perfect amount of times. She anticipated our needs and answered all of our questions. The food was delicious, the vegan chicken salad especially. The vegan pastries were out of this world delicious. It was a great experience overall thank you!

   Our group of three had high hopes after seeing your website, and we were thrilled to know you offer a gluten free afternoon tea experience. We arrived on-time and were seated after some confusion regarding the reservation. The host who ended up also being our server sat us next to the 4 only other tables in the place - presumably they had already closed the other areas by the 1:30pm reservation. On first impression, I’m glad that we didn’t continue to overthink wearing jeans! The server explained the afternoon tea experience and brought us water. A few call outs - no table cloth, no linen napkin, and a cheap plastic water glass. She brought our salad course - small but nice. We asked for salt and pepper. Then, she brought our individual steeped tea pots - both excellent choices (Raspberry Earl Grey De La Crème especially) immediately followed by the tiered foods. Gluten free selections…excellent. Sandwiches were just as expected from the menu, the salt and pepper certainly were needed, though, and could benefit from a little butter on the bread. The scones were excellent. The blueberry muffin was very good, and the peanut butter brownie was good. The mousse seemed like a store bought throw in. The only issue we had was service. After bringing the food, she never stopped at our table again until she asked to cash us out. Everyone had empty water glasses. She never asked if we needed anything - would have paid for more jam or clotted cream or oat milk for the tea. In fact, we would have ordered more scones, and I got up to get my own napkins. We’d definitely order food again to-go. We wouldn’t spend $170 bucks for bad service. The place is cute but missing some points - linens, glassware, and steps of service.

   Hello Matt, I am sorry that you felt our service fell short of your expectations. Both servers yesterday are seasoned with us and usually get rave reviews. I will speak with them about your feedback as we take our customers satisfaction seriously. Going linen-less is a choice we made from the start. I was formerly a Director of Sales for large luxury hotels in NYC and when they ditched the linens and went to more beautiful tables and place settings I saw that was the way for future luxury. We also believe that by using dinner napkins we are more sanitary than cloth napkins that have been used by hundreds of people.    My friend and I enjoyed our afternoon tea today. The food was tasty with plenty of choices. The tea was flavorful. Ambiance was relaxing while the servers were kind, funny and helpful.

   Shannon and her staff were extremely kind and accommodating. This was fourth time and it gets better each time. Was especially nice seeing Denzel growing up and being part of family business.
