   Great Christmas bar. Great cocktails and atmosphere. Our table of six had a 1.5 hour limit which is completely understandable given the season. However, insoluble reccommend ordering any food early. It took almost 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Not ideal in light of the time limit.

   Service during the holiday season wasn’t great. They took a while to let us order drinks and took a long time to come back after we had finished our first drinks. Someone also came to usher us out after an hour a half despite the fact that the food we ordered never got there. Usually love Julep, but this experience was disappointing.

   We were seated at our table and no waiter came by. After 20 min of waiting one of us went to the bar to order drinks. There was an available seat she sat in and the manager told her she couldn’t sit there. She explained we had been waiting 20 min and a server hadn’t been by our table yet. So she then stood next to the available bar seat and the manger told her she couldn’t stand there either. We got up and left and that’s when the manager realized she was being honest that we had a table and no server. He offered a round of shots. Too little too late. It was unnecessary for the manager to be a jerk.

   Julep is normally a great bar and deserves their Michelin rating. But for the most part they really suck. They don’t honor table reservations who would quite feankly spend much more money. And they just don’t honor the reservations They made. I would wait a month for a reservation as long as someone said it was good To me.

   After arriving with a reservation the host, who was better suited to work at Olive Garden, put us on the list with walkins.. after waiting 20 mins i checked and she corrected the mistake and told us to wait another 15 min. After being sat we immediately ordered. 45 min later a cold basket of fries arrived… and we ordered oysters, which we thought would come out first. We checked in with the manager whose only ability seamed to be bussing tables. He walked away to speak to our waiter who i do not blame. We needed up canceling our food and doing to b&b butchers. This staff needs a serious over haul. Other tables were complaining of 20 min waits for dip

   Great drinks. Poor service. Sat us 40 minutes after our reservation time. Drinks were very slow. They needed more bartenders. In two hours we were able to get just two drinks.

    Maybe it’s better when it’s not so busy for Christmas. Made a reservation but kept being asked over and over to give up a seat because a guest hadn’t arrived. Food hadn’t even arrived after 30 minutes so it didn’t make sense to be bothered about our bar seats. Better in previous years. Also valet is complimentary but the valet staff will tell you it costs to ensure they are tipped. Got $20 out of my friend and $7 from me.. just know if you cash app them it’s a tip and not the cost to park. Very misleading
