   I love julep. Drinks are always great! They have table options if you want to stick with your group or bar option as well. Never too crowded.

   I reserved a table for 11:00 and we got there just to stand around until I finally asked if we could have a table. Service took forever and their last call is at 11:15 despite closing at 12:00. The decorations were so cute and the drinks were fine but service wasn't good.

   We had a waitress but she barely came by. One of the waiter was very good and came and took our drinks and was very nice. We didn’t get his name. He was a tall black gentleman. He was attentive and it was busy but he made sure we had our drinks. The manager came and pretty much tried to kick us out saying we only had 20 mins left of our reservation and we didn’t like that. We spent almost $500 to be told ok your time is almost up. I wouldn’t be back bc of that.

   I have been to Julep many times, however sadly this experience was far from the norm. We ordered oysters to start, and fries as a snack while we had our holiday drinks. The oysters were delicious, and my first drink was lovely however ... that was where things took a turn. I ordered a second drink, and while I tried SO hard to like it, there was something incredibly off in the drink. Two other people tried it and agreed. I NEVER return things, and it took everything in me to say something... so I finally asked if there was anyway I could get another drink as something was off in the one I had gotten. Instead she replied with "I will remove it but I'll also close you out". I said I was ok to pay and just wanted to order something new ... but she just sat and waited for the card (we had only been there 45 min, there is a 1.5 hour limit). We never received the fries ... but at this point I was already so uncomfortable I just paid and left. Then to make matters even worse ... I was double charged on my card. One for the original amount and one for the "lower" amount. I waited a few days, they both processed and went through, so now we have to figure that out as well. Again, I have loved Julep in the past, and I know it's a busy time of year and people have bad days... but this was far from a pleasant experience when we were trying to have a festive time and it ended up being quite the opposite.

   I have been coming to your bar since you opened and I have been constantly impressed by your attention to detail. Last night, we celebrated my son's birthday, and once again, you outdid yourself. Thank you for making an evening we will never forget.

   Our server, Ezra, was really nice and helpful with choosing a holiday cocktail. He would check on us often and was overall very nice. The vibes during the holiday season are 10/10!!!
