                                                Service was appalling. Even though it was our first visit to Hera server was far too "familiar". We asked for a fresh wine glass and waitress mimicked to blow on glass before replacing. Special which we ordered was John Dory. Waitress asked if we knew that it was a fish. Empty wine bottles on window cill gave the impression of untidiness

                                                One of the most interesting menus I've seen in a long long time, particularly for vegetarians when the choice is often so dull and uninteresting. The sourdough focaccia with delicious butter was gorgeous, I wanted to take the rest of the butter home with me it was so lovely. And the grilled asparagus and broccoli with pickled shallots was also delicious. My friend loved the Carlingford oysters in rhubarb vinegar and the smoked cod taramasalata. The cocktail and wine were perfect too, and the young woman serving us - I am sorry but I forget her name - couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful.

                                                I’ve been to HERA a few times now and had had different food but a brilliant experience each time. I would recommend. The menu reads a bit complex but the food is so good and staff explain everything so well. It’s simple good done right. The staff are fantastic too

                                                We liked Hera- it was fun & menu is a bit different from the norm ( though bit pricey ). The ambience is great & we will be back.

                                                Very pleasant experience. Starters and Small plates were delicious. Our main course was the special John Dory…..beautiful piece of fish, well cooked but too salty. The side of yeast fried potatoes were yum. Will definitely be back!
