   Gorgeous food, warm and friendly staff. Nice choice of wine by the glass. Food is all seasonal and menu changed accordingly

   Really excellent. We arrived a few minutes early but were seated without delay. Food was great - focaccia, beets, meatballs, schnitzel, pork chop and miso brown butter tart. Cocktails really tasty. Service was fantastic. Jess served us and was personable, relaxed and professional. Extra marks for noticing my partner was facing the glare of the sun and rectifying that by adjusting the awning outside. Will be back for sure. Only a stroll down the canal from phibsboro where we live

   Attentive and professional service. Inventive, tasty, subtle cooking which is overpriced. The mark-up on the wines is excessive, and the list offers neither excitement nor value. For repeat business, the bill would need to be 2/3 of what it was.

   We had a nice meal there last night, some items were nicer than others. The oysters, steak and meatballs were all 5 star I was told, but the veggie offerings are not as nice. On a previous visit I the lasagna which was tasty so this time I had the only other vegetarian main,an aubergine schnitzel which was very disappointing. Tasteless and overcooked. The veggie starters are ok but again very limited. It’s a lovely place for omnivores but they would benefit from some more veggie options.

   Great restaurant , food was fab , we were a party of 4 and 2 had steak which was cooked to perfection. One person had the pork chop which was delicious and the Lasagne was fab. Service was very attentive without being intrusive . Great selection of wines cocktails and drinks also . Great value for money and we would return. They would benefit from window blinds as it was a sunny evening and for a time a little uncomfortable at our table which was situated beside the main window, other than that there were absolutely no negatives

    Our second time at Hera was just as good as the first. We went for an early Sunday dinner with our kids 9 and 12. Cocktails were gorgeous, I had the Flora and husband had an old fashioned. All food was delicious- especially the oysters with rhubarb. The foccacia bread with burnt leek butter is superb. Really great service and staff were really lovely to the kids. A really relaxed atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
