    We had a great time. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. All of our food was perfectly cooked, and the chef and server did a great job with the kids who were at our table. I will definitely be back.

    As usual, the service and ambiance at Kanki North Market were outstanding. Unfortunately, all the members of our party experienced some issues with the food. While the presentation was excellent, the quality of our steaks did not meet our expectations this time. Specifically, the meat was tough. We trust this was just an off night, as we have enjoyed our visits in the past.

    It took about an hour for the chef to arrive to the table (thankfully we got an appetizer), but once he did, we had an amazing time! Ric was the best! 10/10. Even though we had to wait a while, I'm still giving 10/10.

    Service was lack luster. Ran out of drinks before dinner was done and waited for a long while to get our check. It was my daughter’s birthday and I noted that. We didn’t even get offered dessert. Definitely won’t be back again

    Overall, an average experience, especially when compared to others in the category. It felt like the staff was spread thin, even with only about a third of the tables in use. Food was as expected, though not well executed - vegetables were burned in spot as it looked like the flattop was too hot to start. While we didn't order them, it was painful to watch the scallops ordered by the other family at the table go from well cooked to about 5-minutes overcooked. "Filet" was low quality, with gristle - we order medium raw, but called an audible and asked for rare when we saw earlier items get overcooked - the result was a great medium rare! Again, service was spread thin, but our bar drinks, ordered at our first interaction with our waitress, came after the soup, salad were eaten and veggies and rice had hit our plates, which was 45-minutes after we set down. The chef was lackluster, simply preparing the food with little of the traditional kitsch. Ambience was tired. When we want Hibachi again, we'll likely try somewhere else.
