   What a stealth surpise. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten it. The food is simple but incredibly tasty and well prepared. The service is amazing. For me this is a restaurant of superlatives. It was pretty empty at lunch and open all day. I liked it so much I went two days in a row so I could try different things on the menu. Highly recommended

   First the good. Food was really top notch, there is no denying that and I would definitely go there again. The Kiev was top notch, as was the salmon. The Olivieh was good but I’m fast finding that I much prefer the Iranian over the Russian variation of that salad. Now for the bad. I booked a seating indoor but they put me on the terrace and it was absolutely boiling even though it was 10.30pm. Didn’t complain and hoped it would get cooler but that’s Dubai for you. The really bad experience was the main waitress. She took my drinks order no problem and then proceeded to disappear even though she was attentive to the only other outdoor table (a table of 4 women). About 25 mins later I’d had enough and when she popped out I asked for the bill and told her about the wait. She apologised profusely and would make it up. I accepted (I could have eaten an elephant by that stage) and the food came out at a decent pace (there was a French American waiter who was very friendly and deserves props as he was attentive through out the night once the food order was out). As with most high end restaurants I expected her “making it up to be” would have been a comp dessert or to comp the starter etc but in any case I wasn’t hungry then so it was fine. I asked for the bill and gave cash and again she disappeared. After about 15 mins I finished my drink and I went looking for her. She said the change would have been 2 dirhams so she didn’t bring it back. I asked to look at the bill and she practically taken close to 17% as a tip (bear in mind there was no mention of the tip in the total). I just looked at her shook my head and just left. Now I’m not a cheapskate but never in my life has a restaurant or cafe not given the change back and let the customer determine what to tip. I’ve heard this is becoming increasingly common in Dubai. Overall - 10/10 for the food and ambience, 0/10 for the main waitress.

   Business lunch menu was great and had a diverse selection of dishes with fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations. A truly delightful experience for our group. Highly recommended.

   Congratulations, team! We visited the restaurant as we find out that the menu was recently changed, and it reached all the expectations! Was happy to see that the signature dishes were still there, but wow what an improvement. As always the team was very attentive and service was on its best! Keep it up guys!

   The food was simply exquisite, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The interior design added to the charm, and the music selection was just right. We were happy to see many Easter-European dishes on the menu that tasted just like back home. Medovik cake is a must to try! We also saw the terrace that looked very pretty and will definitely come back during the day to try the business lunch.
