   Our table ordered a variety of items and shared them all. Jason, our server, was excellent and helpful he listened to our picks and chose the order in which they came out. A really great experience. Great vibe right from the start with fun hostesses right through super efficient busboys. Great time!

   This was our second visit to Kasumi, and this time, we brought friends along. While the food was delicious, there were some issues that dampened the experience. We started with appetizers and specifically asked the waitress if the Tartare of Toro Tuna would be enough for four people. She assured us it would be, but when it arrived, the portion was embarrassingly small—barely enough for two people to share. While tasty, we immediately had to order another serving. The BBQ Pork Belly followed a similar pattern: three pieces arrived for a table of four, forcing us to order another. Surprisingly, when the second portion came, it contained only two pieces. For the main dishes, we ordered a selection of hand-rolled sushi, the Take (6 pcs Sashimi and 6 pcs Nigiri), and two maki rolls (28 pieces total). These were very good and met our expectations. The Wagyu Beef Gyoza was another highlight, with great flavor and presentation. We ended the meal with the Kakigori Shaved Ice dessert, opting for the pineapple/mango and vanilla ice cream. While refreshing, it was just okay—nothing particularly memorable. Overall, Kasumi’s food is undeniably good, but their portion sizes and service need improvement, especially when accommodating group dining. Given how long the restaurant has been open, I expected a more polished experience. There’s potential here, but they need to step up their game to deliver consistent satisfaction.

   This place doesn’t miss! Not only is it the best sushi in town BY FAR (thanks to the Michelin starred chef) but it also has an amazing vibe, incredible wine & sake selection, and a beautiful ambiance. Our server, Kiera, gave us the best service we could have asked for and made our experience that much more amazing. Will definitely be back!

   Waited half an hour for booked reservation, no apologies. Japanese chef didn’t meet the expectations- waguy gyozu had barely any meat, pork belly was hard to chew, waguy beef was ok. Our hostess was the only bright side-aware of chaotic and messy crowds, dishes not as expected, she was apologetic, kind, doing her best.

   We are big sushi eaters and were so impressed with our first visit to this new restaurant! The food was perfection. We ordered a combination of handrolls and nigiri sushi as well as sushito peppers. The staff was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with such a nice modern but relaxed ambiance. They do also have non sushi options. We plan to return frequently and would highly recommend.

    The restaurant is beautiful and the service was a 10. Our server Jason was terrific as were all the other wait staff. They were constantly clearing, cleaning, refreshing etc. really top notch. The food is another story. I've never seen such tiny slices of sashimi; almost too small to pick up. Quality was great, but ridiculously small. The other sushi items, rolls and nigiri( we're good. The oysters were in a very salty sauce. The salad was tasty. I think they should add Naruto and brown rice options as many in the area are on healthy diets. The concept is amazing and I'll go back as soon as they make some adjustments.
