   This dinner was impromptu. Previous reservations were changed due to weather and Keller Chophouse was very accommodating. The atmosphere and staff were very pleasant and the food was amazing. Definitely worth the trip and the time spent here.

   Our dining experience was wonderful. Our server, Luke, was very attentive, but not overbearing, our food was delicious and delivered in a timely manner, and the overall value was well worth it.

   This was my second visit to Keller Chophouse to celebrate a special event. Our server was Eric and he checked on us with the precise frequency that meant he was at the table just a moment before we looked up to try to catch his eye. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Our steaks were cooked properly; one medium rare and one medium well. Our side order of creamed spinach was delicious, but the twice-baked au gratin potatoes would better be described as baked potato salad. The dish didn't have the creamy, cheesy sauce that defines au gratin potatoes; these were chunks of potatoes with bacon and melted cheese on top. The restaurant would have been very quiet, except that we were seated diagonally to the only other occupied table and listening to this loud, opinionated gentleman trying to impress both his date and their server the entire time really ruined our experience. (When we finished eating, I noticed another table had been seated two tables further away from us and I hadn't heard them once. I wish that the three parties had been spaced evenly throughout the intimate restaurant so that we all had the ability to enjoy our meals.) The dessert list looked promising, but we opted to pass because our celebratory evening was irredeemable by that point. The obnoxious blowhard wasn't the fault of Keller Chophouse, but being seated so close to him for no reason made no sense.

   There are better steakhouses for the money. The "small" wedge salad, which consisted of 1/8 a head of iceberg lettuce, was $10. The filet was way over-seasoned for my taste and the twice-baked au gratin potatoes were dry and bland. Really nice people and waitstaff, though.

    All members of our party agreed food was excellent, service staff was outstanding and a lovely change from some of the other fine dining places where the noise level is terrible. Jennifer was our server and was outstanding in every way. Would definitely recommend it to any friends.
