Created during the pandemic as a tropical escape from nearly two years of closed borders, Kiki Lounge is a tropical bar on a not-so-tropical island. Inspired by the legacy of pioneering American tiki bars like Trader Vic’s and Don the Beachcomber, but with a decidedly millennial flourish, Kiki Lounge is a beloved local haunt offering world-class cocktails and warm Manx hospitality. Owners Jamie Lewis and Drew Fleming (the inaugural winner of the 50 Best The Blend scholarship from The World’s 50 Best Bars) have worked tirelessly to create the ideal tropical hideaway for locals and visitors alike. In May 2024, Kiki Lounge was awarded 1 PIN Excellent status in the inaugural The Pinnacle Guide listing, recognising its exceptional quality and service. Now in a new site on Douglas’ North Quay, Kiki Lounge is a smugglers’ cove of pop-culture ephemera modelled on the quintessential beach bar, with an ambitious menu marrying tropical tradition with contemporary technique.

    Sheffield’s PUBLIC is making its way to the IOM for one night only, bringing their signature offbeat charm and boundary-pushing cocktails to Kiki's. Housed in a converted public lavatory, PUBLIC has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting bars—featured on the Top 50 Cocktail Bars list since 2022 and recognised by the Observer Food Monthly Awards. On the night, PUBLIC’s team—including Niamh, an Isle of Man native now based in Sheffield—will take over the bar, serving a four-cocktail menu showcasing their unique approach to flavour, rooted in seasonality and local influence. This event is part of a two-way takeover, with Team Kiki heading to Sheffield on Tuesday, 18th February before PUBLIC returns the favour on Manx shores.

Packages are £40 per person with a £20 per person deposit required when booking. Please note, your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid. For bookings with less than 7 days' notice, availability cannot be guaranteed, and a team member will confirm. Includes: - A two-hour cocktail-making session - An extra fancy welcome drink - Three (hard earned) cocktails - A whole load of fun! Suitable for groups of 8 or more.

    It was a really good experience however it’d felt rushed that they needed the table back from us. In future options to book for longer would be ideal. Due to this and a busy night it limited our ability to order as much and staff needed reminded time over for our drink orders.

    We went to Kikis for end of year team drinks - the atmosphere was nice and chilled, speedy, polite and attentive service, drinks were spot on (aesthetically snazzy too). Would definitely go again - great work guys! :)

    Amazing as usual! We love the pickle shot and we even asked for a pickle martini and they were able to make it for us! The festive drinks were amazing ! Staff are always super friendly!
