   RESERVATION WAS NOT HONORED! Made a reservation several days advance. Three handicapped people in our party so a reservation was important. Drive 40 minutes to get there. Arrived and the check in line was out the door. I thought these were all people who just walked up. Nope, several said they had reservations and had been waiting almost an hour beyond their time. I couldn’t have our party wait like that. So we left. We were excited for this dinner, but wound up having cheese sandwiches. Not merry Christmas to us! The crazy part is that they were still accepting reservations on OpenTable.

   We had a 6:00 reservation for 5. We arrived on time, but due to the holiday and the amount of customers, they anticipated a 20 minute wait which is exactly what it took to get seated. We were fine with that. Everything else was great.

   We wanted to try this hibachi grill because we saw it was connected with Japan Inn, which we used to go to often in Weston. I ordered the filet as my main meal and my husband had the steak and shrimp. The meal was delicious. My filet was cooked rare to medium rare as I requested, and I complimented the chef. We will most likely go back there. Next time I want to try the sushi/sashimi. It is a great place for groups of 6-8 because you can all sit at the same table as well.

   Our server was Heather and she was amazing. She made our night memorable, friendly, considerate, and funny. I will definitely be asking for her table when we return.

   Great hibachi with fried rice and veggies plus soup and tossed salad. Nice show of presentation. Good seaweed salad. Kind of fun.

    As soon as we walked in you could feel the excitement and a buzz in the room of fun a laughter. The 4-7pm Happy Hour deals are worth coming in early. My Hibachi Steak & Shrimp meal was excellent, as always. The service is great and we have a great time everything we go to Kimura JSH.
