   Solid as always! I like consistency in food and great wait staff. If I want a steak outside of my own home, I go to Kirby's.

   Was very disappointed with the food this time around. We never received our side of mushrooms with the our steak, and my French Fries did not arrive with the meal either. When they did they were undercooked and soggy. My NY Strip contained 1/3 fat/gristle and while I know that cut is expected to contain some, this steak (for the price) was no better than the average grocery store. Our guests prime rib was almost inedible, containing 3/4 fat waste. We were offered 1 dessert as compensation. Now to the positive, our server Monty was first class with impeccable timing. He was apologetic throughout the meal, and we understood it was NOT his fault. The concierge at the front were also top notch as well. I’ve eaten here several times before and the food was never less than five stars. It was also a very busy night. However for the price, I felt the food was sub par. It was obvious the kitchen was behind the game tonight.

   My ribeye steak was tough and tight grained. No marbling, very little flavor for $57. Service was very good but the food value was less than adequate. The market price on the crab claws and legs was $180. New York strip was grainy and tough. Appetizers and sides were good. We have gone here for 25 years and the food quality and value has really gone downhill.

   Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the loud noises. Our waiter suggested we try dining on a Wednesday evening rather than Saturday. Probably a great suggestion we will take since we do love Kirby's.

   Dinner was great. Steak was perfect and augratin potatoes in a skillet were so good. Nice change from a baked potato. Our waiter was super and wished my friend happy birthday with a dessert on the house. This is a great place to go for a special occasion.
