   The food was excellent, but I felt the service was lacking. We were the among the initial people to arrive in the restaurant yet our order was taken last only after I had to flag down the server. This made us lose out on some dishes as they were no longer available after other patrons had ordered. Also our server wasn't filling our water glass (they might have done it only once) and focused too much on their "buddy" who was in the restaurant. Even with this I did leave a decent tip (20%), but it was a bitter pill to do so. For 180$ we expected much better service.

   Probably the best Japanese food in Montreal. Quality of ingredients and preparation is Michelin star level.

   Food was amazing. Very impressed. Great quality sushi and cooked dishes were phenomenal. Waiter was wonderful but restaurant was busy enough to require second waiter

   I’ve had a miso soup and a crab mazemen, along with a glass of sake and a glass of French white wine. Everything was delicious! Based on what I had, I highly recommend this place. Now I’m curious about more “common” stuff: sashimi, chirashi… I’ll be back 😎
