Located in the Deep Ellum neighborhood, Komodo Dallas features an ultra-contemporary exterior facade that gives way to an inviting indoor-outdoor flow. The restaurant takes visual cues from its homebase, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows. From there, pops of saturated color are added, such as with the lounge’s eye-catching wallpaper and a dramatic fabric-draped corridor. Komodo Dallas spans two stories and seats up to 274 diners across tabletop, booth and bar seats.

Komodo Dallas’ menu offers delicious takes on Southeast Asian dishes, all of which have been developed and interpreted with a global approach. The result is a unique dining experience, ranging from regularly rotating specials to house favorites such as Salmon Tacos, Miso Chilean Seabass Skewers, Peking Duck, and Daring Plant Based Kung Pao Chicken.     Everything was fantastic. We got the fried chicken which as great and really juicy. Don’t skip on the baked crab sushi. Probably the best sushi I’ve had. Also the Money Bags were money! Definitely recommend!

    Food was brought out staggered, which usually means hot food. Not in this case. The waiter didn’t come back to see how everything was. We were automatically charged a service charge for our party of 9, which I understand is normal but what I don’t like is subpar service. Food was tasty, drinks were weak. Atmosphere was nice.

    I’ve been to Komodo a numerous of times, love the food, drinks and ambiance here. I went last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday dinner, and the waiter completely lied to us and said they were out of to-go boxes. I proceeded to ask another waiter if that was true & it was not. So why did my original server lie? Very odd and unprofessional.

    One of the worst restaurants in DFW in terms of service. Hosts are RUDE, made us wait when half of the restaurant was empty and kept cutting me off every time I spoke. Server was extremely slow and my water was empty for most of the night. Food was okay. I’ve had better at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. You would think that for the price you would get a top tier dining experience but nope. I’ve had service better from 16 year olds at local sushi spots. This place is not worth the hype. Do not go here - I surely will never be back lol

    We Celebrated a birthday here last Friday night 2/7/25. Our Waiter was Alex. He was very attentive and warm. Pierce, the manager, even came by to check on us, recommended some wonderful wine. We also observed him checking with other tables. He was kind, accommodating, engaging and genuinely interested in making sure everyone was having a great experience. Stephanie was another server that made the night a success. The food was delicious, a 10/10. The presentation was impressive. The vibe is unique and elegant and the ambiance perfect. Would definitely recommend!!! Absolutely loved every thing about this place!

    Had a great experience with my friends for a small birthday get together for myself. The service was great and attentive. The food was very good. This isn’t my first time here so that should tell you something. ♥️
