   If Komodo were in the Gables, West Kendall or Doral, it would be 5 Stars. Brickell = Tourists. I love well dressed, energetic scenes. But Brickell Miami and South Beach take it to an extraterrestrial level. Key one being that if you do not know how to hold a knife & fork, much less know how to sit properly @ a table---you have no business being in the likes of a Komodo; despite being in Chanel, Ferragamo or Tom Ford. You are running society and social bonds of proper etiquette. Food is excellent, service is rushed but friendly, but the fact that Komodo Doubles as a dance club, adds further to it degradation via the abundance of breast, buttocks' and chin implants, hair extensions. So, if you want to be seen, or desperate for a fake relationship go. If you are celebrating a birthday, graduation, anniversary or anything with an a semblance of authenticity, avoid it like you would a Bad Flu.

   Customer service lacks significantly and they clearly overbook. The most disappointing experience given how much I bragged on this restaurant initially, the one in Vegas is definitely better.

   Always delicious! Must get the Komodo chicken salad and the peking duck, add the waygu dumplings if you need more food! Place is trendy and a little loud but worth it… go early if you want less noise (it’s what I do).

   This is not my first time at this restaurant – the food is great, and the atmosphere is fun. However, waiting another 2.5 hours at the bar after having a reservation is just too much. The table was at 10:30 PM, and we ended up eating at 1 AM.

   Reservation was at 9:30pm. My party and I waited until 11pm until we decided to leave because we were not seated to dine. This was upsetting because I was celebrating my birthday.

   Came to celebrate my birthday. Had to beg the hostess to seat us after 2 hours of waiting for our table even with a reservation booked months in advance. When seated, we had to wait 30 minutes for drinks the first round and another hour the second round. Asking for the check was like round 2 of begging the hostess to seat me. Never coming here again.

    Overhyped and Mismanaged – Not Worth the Visit This restaurant is a textbook example of style over substance. Despite having a 9 PM reservation, we were met with chaos—at least 50-70 people waiting for tables, indicating gross overbooking. After waiting an hour past our reservation time, we were finally seated, but the experience didn’t improve. The $30-$40 cocktails were uninspired and poorly executed—hardly justifying the exorbitant price. As for the food, it was utterly forgettable, lacking the quality and creativity you’d expect at this price point. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its atmosphere, which, frankly, is not enough to compensate for the subpar service and underwhelming offerings. For anyone looking for a vibrant dining experience in Miami, Wynwood and Brickell have plenty of superior options with comparable vibes but much better food, drinks, and service. Save your time, money, and patience—this place is not worth the hassle.
