The sushi was good but the stir fry was boring and unexciting. The service was ok for main waiter but good from others filling in. Lighting is way too bright and music is way too loud. Still have work to do to improve overall experience.

Our server was really nice and management came over to complement them because they were busy helping other customers good teamwork. The food was very good. I just thought forty five dollars for seabass was extremely pricey The price and the value just don’t seem to match This was our second time eating there

The food is okay to good and the wine and beer choices are extensive. We had an early dinner and ordered from the regular menu. There is a Happy Hour Menu and a good option for trying the restaurant for the first time. I had the cheese burger and my husband had the French Dip. Both were very good, but my fries tasted like they had been sitting for a while and were tasteless and cold. The waitress was friendly and very helpful, she replaced them with fresh hot fries and the house potato chips. The house chips are very good and the better option. We were both happy with our beer and wine selections, too. The two biggest draw-backs are the high prices and the music. There are no prices shown on their menu located on their website, but we had a clue from online comments. The LOUD music sounds like a dance club and is not very relaxing for sharing a meal or having a conversation. While it was decent food, the noise level and over-priced meal does not make it our first choice for returning.

We ordered the surf and turf, the steak was over cooked, we wanted medium rare, and the shrimp skewers were cold. Green beans were great but were cold as well. Lobster roll was super spicey and very scarce on the lobster. The texture was off, I am sure it was fake lobster.

Everything about Kona Grill is a BIG miss. Ambiance is horrible, you walk into loud music being played by a DJ which would be great except they have the lights on so bright you feel like you’re in a doctors office waiting for your appointment. Not the hip club feel they’re trying to create. Next, the food is terrible and very expensive for what you get. I got the surf and turf, upgraded to Wagyu $10 extra ordered med rare came out well done, dry, zero flavor. All other entrees tasted like prepared airline food. So disappointing. Drinks were weak, came out wrong, and bar glasses were dirty. Add Kona Grill to the list of restaurants that have failed in that space (Macaroni Grill, Twiggs)

Employees and Managers running around like crazy but NOT WELL trained. Managers were asking the bartender what to do…hmmm…the female Bartender held the entire operation together. Food is okay. Kinda like a new concept Applebees

We were excited to try this new restaurant even though the reviews weren’t showing high ratings. We had a reservation (luckily because it was very busy)! We were seated at a table for 4 but it was very small and we struggled to find room for the food we ordered and drinks. (It should’ve been for 2 or 3. They did remove the empty plates when we asked to make more space. The ambience wasn’t bad, loved the fire flame walls; they were so pretty BUT….its so loud inside and the tables are very close to each other and the music is playing; even with a small table we struggled to hear each other. We did enjoy our food. Nothing stander out as DELICIOUS but it was all worth eating. Our party ordered 2 appetizers (California roll and spring roll; both were good). The main entrees were the French dip, strip steak, fish and chips (good flavor but a bit too salty), and the tacos. And honestly all were fine tasting. It was more the loudness that didn’t create as fun evening out with friends. Unfortunately, the food was not over the top delicious (there are other restaurants with the same good food that has better room appeal)! If you don’t mind the noise I’d say give it a try for a meal out! Go after 7:00 if you want an adult night…there were lots of family’s when we arrived at 6! Probably great for a kid friendly family night out!
