   Exceptional food in a modern Japanese setting. Chef Pearl and team create some of the most amazing flavors we've had in L.A. and am excited to tell more people to come here. We've had their omakase twice, and now the full menu. Don't sleep on the Shishito burger either!

   Every last bite was absolutely delicious! Chef Pearl and Chef Pablo are passionate about what they do and you can taste it💕 The restaurant is beautiful. We traveled to try out Kusaki, well worth it, and we will be back.

   My husband and I did the omakase experience, which was one of the best meals we have ever had. I am vegan and he is not, so it was the first time we got to experience this together. We were both blown away at how good the food was. Additionally, the service was phenomenal. We hope to be regulars here!

   My wife is Vegetarian, so I eat mostly vegetarian meals with her. It was a treat to find Kusaki. The food is all plant based, and it was wonderful. It was packed with so much flavor that you don't miss meat. The server was very friendly and helpful. We wish there were more restaurants like this near us because we would go all the time.    My best friend and I ordered the 15 course omakase menu at the bar last night celebrating an anniversary and it was the most FANTASTIC, INDULGENT, GORGEOUS, SPECTACULAR meal of my life. The chefs and owner were so sweet and it was awesome to learn all the work that had gone into the dishes. The dessert (sweet potato brownie with coconut ice cream and miso caramel glaze) would be worth coming in for on it's own. 10/10 stars, give Chef Pearl her Michelin Stars!

   Truly outstanding -- my nonvegan companions couldn't believe their taste buds. Even the food writer was impressed. Rock stars and artsy types definitely add to the ambience and "cool factor."

   The food here is impeccable. Everything I ate was outstanding- my favorite was the wonton appetizer, which was beyond transcendent and I’ve been dreaming about ever since I’ve had it. The only thing I didn’t like was the prices, which for the portion sizes didn’t make much sense. This is a good place if you’re looking to splurge on something beyond delicious, but it’s not a place one can regularly come to unless you make good money. My only regret is that I didn’t have the ten course meal, as I’ve heard such great things about it being much more worth the money; I will have to do that my next visit!
