   Rather disappointed. The resort is lovely, but I didn’t think much of the restaurant. Food was adequate, barely. Front desk was disorganized. Kitchen sent out the wrong side. The entree itself was not bad, but the sides were cold, barely seasoned and had obviously been prepared much earlier in the day. Same with the very limited dessert. I’ve had as good from a grocery store bakery. If you’re staying at the resort and need to eat it’s ok. But I certainly wouldn’t make trip out here for the restaurant.

   Fantastic member dinner. Juanita is beyond excellent. She’s is attentive, kind and capable. The food was outstanding and the wine was delicious.

   The strip steak was excellent and wine selections were extensive. Waitstaff was very cordial and attentive. Great experience and highly recommend.

   We were very dissatisfied with our $180 meal. My steak was so covered in gristle I was spitting it out it was so chewy. My husband’s bison chicken fried steak looked appetizing until he cut into it and not only was it breaded about 3 inches past the tiny piece of actual meat they used but it was also extremely fatty and chewy. The service was very slow, chips were hard, stale and tasteless and the salsa and queso were yuck! I did like the banana bread pudding and the Caesar salad tasted very u washed but would have been good if better prepared. The table was also so wobbly I almost spilled fro is while cutting up my food. For our first night out in a very long time, we were extremely bummed about our experience there. Do not recommend.

   This was our first visit to La Cascada. The service was excellent,and we enjoyed our meals. I had the shrimp with pasta, and my husband ordered the Caesar Salad with Salmon. My only complaint was that the shrimp dish said it came with arugula, and apparently that meant just a couple of shredded bits on top for looks. For dessert we treated ourselves to a chocolate torte, yum, and some decaf coffee. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast! Definitely recommend! I rated it moderate for noise because the bar that's attached (though separated by a partial wall) had some noisy folks.

   The view from the window is perfect - waterfall, golfers teeing off and beautiful grounds. Salads were all good but not what we ordered but after waiting over an hour and seeing other tables with food who were seated after us, we took what came out. The waiter was new? and didn’t write down our order and came back 3 times for clarification and yet our salads still came out wrong. Was hoping for a discount and I should have asked but didn’t.

   Wanted a reservation for brunch, had the options for inside or outside. Wanted to go there at 10:30 but no availability for outside so picked 11:00 for outside instead only to find out that no more breakfast after 11:00 and decided to power wash the deck outside and ended up sitting inside. Disappointed to say the least!

   It was so nice we went twice! We were in the Boerne area for a family gathering and my husband found La Cascada at Tapatio Resort via Google. We decided to check it out because it was close to our Air BNB. We went for breakfast on both days. The servers and staff were so nice and helpful. They were also attentive. The breakfast and coffee was delicious! It was a huge hit with our 10 month old also. Not to mention the views of the golf course and the Texas hill country could not be beat.

   Great ambiance and food — Juanita did an outstanding job taking care of us — we enjoyed our evening very much! Our party of four tried three different appetizers, steaks and fish entrees and dessert and it was all excellent! My husband and I especially enjoyed the prickly pear margaritas. Service was excellent and everyone at this resort is welcoming and friendly — will definitely be back!

    $200 tab with a glass of wine, a beer, 2 cokes, 1 appetizer and 3 entrees. Steaks were overcooked, “red wine bordelaise” was absolutely just au jus. Too much truffle oil on the fries. Value is nonexistent. Won’t be back. Our server was awesome but the meal was really not great.
