   My wife and i have lived in kw the past 50 years. We are semi regular at la cucina. It was my wife's Birthday today and she chose la cucina of all of the kw restaurants she had a choice from. The cooking staff made a top shelf meal. We have been to LA Cucina many times, tonight was the first time I had their hot sauce- wow! Neil was top shelf and one his game. An albatross if this was golf Neil.

   Servers were very friendly and were making us pronounce the dishes with an Italian accent which was very fun. Food was amazing and well priced, coming out quickly and appealing! Went there for our first date and a year later coming again for nostalgia and was even better the second time. Very much recommend

   Food: Cheese board - Generous serving of cured meats, one thing that can be improved on is to add other types of cheeses. Ossobuco - Loved this! I’ll order this again. Pizza - I may have had higher expectations, but it was good overall. Ambiance: Not for intimate dining. The place is a little cramped. We can also hear the stories shared on other tables. This may be a good spot for drinking and if you don’t mind other people hearing you. They have lots of coat rack so that’s a plus. Service: It was quite difficult to catch the attention of our server (or any staff), I think it’s because of where we were seated. There was also a significant waiting time between our orders. It was a peak hour though, so maybe that’s why.

   ピザが絶品です。 ワインと一緒に食べると更に良いです。 店の雰囲気も良く、店員さんも笑顔でとても良い対応で 良い食事会が出来ました。

    First time here, was excited to try it on NYE. Food was good, although the caprese pizza had 2.5 small pieces of basil which was disappointing. Our service was not great. Our server was distracted (NYE maybe?) and we had to ask for a carafe of water which seemed standard for all other tables and it finally came after our first round of drinks. I think we sat for 18 minutes before he even came over. He didn't come to ask how things were once we had our food, or ever. It wasn't the sort of service we expected. We will try one more time but if the service isn't better, we will eat elsewhere.
