    As we walked up to our the door the smell of an outstanding fish restaurant was impressive. We were warmly greeted and were not rushed to make our choices. The appetizers were superb as were the cocktails. Our entrees were perfectly cooked and the flavors were spot on. We will be eating here again.

    Red fish and pompano were great and cooked perfectly. The only knock I have is lack of valet as parking in the area is nuts

    We went for happy hour at 6:00pm on 11/14/2024 that was to last til 7:00 on their web site. The girl said that's only on line and we don't have a menu here. So, we ordered off the regular menu. She recommend the fresh oysters on the half shell. They were not fresh and sent them back. We did get a credit for them. Then we ordered the 3 tacos and took one bite and could not taste the lobster, shrimp or fish. So many other great restaurants near Jones Hall. We won't be back.

    We’ve gone to La Fisheria many times in recent years. It’s always delicious. The octopus is excellent and tender. The service was very good. We always enjoy dining there. The tamal is also delicious.
