The service was careless, and the food seemed poorly prepared. Overall, my experience was negative, and I don’t plan on returning.

After dining at their properties in NYC, we booked this with high expectations. Sadly—neither the food nor the service were even average—we will gladly revisit all of the properties in New York—but not this property in Chicago. Where to start—in NYC the staff seemed happy to be there—in Chicago, we seemed a distraction. Upon being seated, we ordered a nice (~$100) bottle of wine and asked for the cheese board and charcuterie, having experienced both in NYC. The waiters response: we need you to order everything all at once—do you know your entree orders? It was NYE, so that wasn’t a deal breaker—they’re trying to turn the tables—we get it. So . . .we all took another look at the menu. And then we ordered—salads, apps, steaks etc—we weren’t skimping. And when the cheese/charcuterie boards arrived . . .it was pretty bleak. In NYC there multiple pieces of cheese and more meat than we could eat—as an app. Here in Chicago—four small slivers of cheese and a few slices of meat. All of which were underwhelming. When the entrees arrived—it was more of the same. The steaks were thin (~1/2 the size for the same price as Gibsons or Bavette’s or Steak 48 etc.) and the fish and everything else . . .meh. Went in with the highest expectations and could not have been more disappointed. Stick to their properties in NYC—avoid Chicago.

Exciting place, busy & alive yet well supported by the hosts, our server Arturo was an exceptional example of this. We sampled a number of items, the burger, rib eye, oysters, shrimp and the best true Ceasar salad presentation, double order, with generous hearts of the romaine. Handsome bar & beautifully adorned restaurant. Good show.

Great ambiance, but the entree and appetizers were very mediocre unfortunately. The bar staff however were excellent. I would only recommend this place for cocktails and dessert. It's expensive for an underwhelming dining experience.

This restaurant is newly renovated from a Ruth's Chris and it is absolutely gorgeous. Down to every detail - truly stunning. Thanks to a NY restaurant group - they outdid themselves, I'd say. Looks are one thing -- but the service and food are equally top notch. We came in for an early 11am reservation. Our server gave us some excellent recos. I did as he suggested and tried the croque madame. It was a huge portion and perfectly seasoned - delicious. The green salad served with each dish is light and delightful. My husband enjoyed the French onion soup (honestly, I was jealous and had to dip my bread) and the Chicken Palliard on the Prix Fixe menu. Chicken was tasty, maybe just a touch salty. Coffee was delicious. Espresso even better. Service is 12/10. They are lovely and engaging - which makes any meal better. As mentioned, gorgeous inside. This will be a new go-to while in Chicago. One last thing! Music is on-point. And if you know, you know. Music matters.

Everything was excellent! The atmosphere with all the Christmas lights was beautiful. Great ambiance with light music and moderate but comfortable noise level. Our server, Desiree, was very knowledgeable and recommended great wines and dessert choices. Our. meal --the duck entree, sea bass bouillabasse, profiteroles, chocolate caramel tart-- was fantastic.

Beautiful restaurant. Ordered mostly seafood items and should have tried the meat dishes as that’s what it’s known for.

Everything about this place was perfect – the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The only downside was that we mentioned during the reservation that it was a birthday, but unfortunately, no one acknowledged it. I hope this will be addressed in the future, as it would have been a nice touch.

What a beautiful location to spend a Girl’s Christmas Brunch! We chose this space and were very happy we did. We tried an Omelette, Steak Frites and Steak and Eggs! The steak was done well despite lots of different temperatures from our group from medium rare to medium well. We were pleasantly surprised with bottomless mimosa option as well. A nice touch. We were able to observe the beautiful Christmas tree too! Our server Manuel was very attentive and made the meal a success!
