   An Exceptional Evening at La Grande Boucherie Dining at La Grande Boucherie was nothing short of spectacular. The combination of impeccable food, a refined atmosphere, and excellent service made for an unforgettable evening. The Food I opted for their ribeye steak, and it was, without a doubt, one of the finest cuts of beef I’ve ever had. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, the steak had a beautifully caramelized crust that locked in all the rich, robust flavors. Every bite was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Paired with the ribeye were their smashed potatoes, a simple yet elevated side that brought the meal together. Creamy and buttery with a hint of garlic, they were the perfect complement to the richness of the steak. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was elegant yet inviting. The Beers To accompany my meal, I chose a couple of IPA beers from their thoughtfully curated drink menu. The first was a bold, hoppy West Coast IPA with citrus and pine undertones that paired beautifully with the richness of the ribeye. The second was a hazy New England IPA, bursting with tropical fruit flavors, which provided a refreshing contrast to the hearty meal. Both beers were served perfectly chilled, enhancing their flavor profiles and making them an ideal match for the steak. The Atmosphere and Service La Grande Boucherie’s ambiance is something to behold. The stunning décor, with its grand Parisian brasserie-inspired design, added a layer of sophistication to the evening. Despite the upscale vibe, the atmosphere remained welcoming and warm. The service was equally remarkable. My server was attentive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about helping me pair the perfect beer with my meal. Their genuine passion for the menu and dedication to making my experience memorable was evident throughout. I want to thank Omar and Regina for their Amazing treat I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

   Our first time there before the theatre. The restaurant was so pretty and luxurious feeling. The food was delicious and the server got us in and out quickly and with grace.

   Decor not very luxurious. Cheap plaid table cloths. A single huge room with dozens of tables. Drinks were strong and good but food was disappointing. Had prawns with pasta. Prawns were overcooked, not delicate. Husband said Manhattan clam clam chowder was good but salad with crab and prawns was meh. Rice pudding for dessert was similar to Kozy Shak supermarket rice pudding. Cold, not baked style. Prices were high for non New Yorker but probably typical for New York. Overall not bad but an underwhelming experience. Many better restaurants in almost any part of New York.

    It's charming. But the food is average and the service is marginal. In a city with amazing restaurants and fabulous service, how can this compete? Truly an unusual and expansive space with lots of attention to interior design decor - but I'm not eating the walls nor the lighting. I had the salmon - unremarkable. Our dining partners had the onion soup and raved about it - so perhaps I was our choices. They did place us in a quieter spot, its a busy place, the tables are tight. But our waiter changed three times and our meals came out very slowly. It was worth a visit. Order the soup.
