   Overall, a disappointing experience. We arrived slightly before our reservation and the hosts got us sat right away. Several minutes after we were sat, a young woman comes over and asks us if we prefer still or sparkling water and 5-10 minutes later we finally got our water. We perused the menu, still unsure of where our server was. Probably close to 20 minutes after we were sat did our server finally come over (we had to flag another woman down to find out where our server was). We ordered the beef tartare and the Boucherie burger. Both my sister and I were pleasantly impressed by the tartare and quicky worked through the large portion. However, the burger did not live up to the expectations. It was over-seared on the outside and under cooked in the center. The bun was soggy from the tomatoes, onions, and Brie. Two bites and a few fries later, we decided we were finished with the burger. We asked for the bill and were even more surprised when we discovered that we were charged $20 for still water?? Neither the server or lady who initially got us water mentioned that the water was $10/bottle. We wouldn’t have ordered a second bottle. Just felt weird about the hidden charges but silently paid it and moved on with our evening. Would not recommend this restaurant to friends and would not come back. The restaurant interior was beautiful though!! The Christmas ambience is what initially drew us to La Grande Boucherie but I am saddened that the food and experience didn’t live up to the hype.

   Dined solo at La Boucherie and had an incredible experience, thanks to Rodrigo. His recommendations were spot on, and his attention to detail made me feel truly taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect, and the steak and fries were absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection. Rodrigo’s service made the meal even more memorable. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re dining here!

   Absolutely delicious- spectacular French food without being pretentious. The French onion soup was wonderful, the steak frites perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the scallop dish was so incredibly tender and delicious Have already recommended to friends, we will be back!

   Love this place but some strategically place sound boards would help with the noise level which can be quite loud at times.

   Ate here a few months ago and sat by the bar. It was very nice. Returned today and we were seated on the second floor. Carpet was disgustingly dirty. Serving station or whatever it’s called where they put dirty dishes was overflowing and disgusting. Food was mediocre. Server was very nice and attentive. It was like an assembly line. Friends of ours had the same experience… was great the first time (a year or so ago) and returned a month or so ago and was a very disappointing experience like ours was today. Too many other good choices in the city. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

   Thiis was a nightmare. Booked a 12:00 PM reservation, as you can see from my account, and when I got there they are telling me, oh no it's for 1 :30. I told the hostess she is incorrect. She just stated there were no open tables, you can sit out in the Atrium with the doors wide open during a winter day, because we have no other available tables. How embarrassing is this going on a date for a Christmas Holiday celebration and encountering such incompetency. I had to ask for the manager, who saw I did have a reservation. He then proceeded to sit us at the worst 2 seat table in the restaurant by the bathrooms and exit of the restaurant. Horrendous. And they rush you, They take the bread plates away and dump your bread on your dinner plate. What!! Not very professional service. And they stand over you like hawks taking your plates basically telling you to get up. I would never go here again and I hope you don't either.

   It was me and my gf 1st time eating here. Beautiful restaurant. Food was great. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend it and we will comeback for sure!

    Would not go back. Way too crowded. Absolutely freezing inside. Everything felt rushed. We ordered apps and they came out 2 mins later. Nothing great about this place. It’s decorated for Xmas but so is every restaurant in nyc. I didn’t find it overly Christmasy just felt like a tourist trap.
