   Wanted to to treat myself for the holidays and boucherie’s outdid itself. Extensive menu and my server Mo, guided me through and made it a wonderful experience. From start to finish boucherie once again made me feel like I was in another world. Highly recommend the octopus!

   We ordered 3 NY Strip Steaks and two burgers on their late lunch menu. One steak was tough, the others fine. On the burgers, they forgot the Gorgonzola cheese and carmelized onions. The atmosphere was great, the service good but the food was underwhelming and overpriced.

   My wife and I both ordered the pre-fixe lunch. The French onion soup was very good - not too salty and great temperature and flavor. We both shared a croque monsieur and the chicken paillard. Both were just average at best. One side (slice of bread) of the croque monsieur was overly dry. The grilled chicken had a slight rubbery texture when biting and chewing. Service and ambiance were excellent, but it is not enough to make up for the lackluster meal.

   Beautiful restaurant. Very festive decorations for the holidays. Architecture is also beautiful as is the entranceway between the buildings where it is also beautifully decorated outside. Food was awesome. We ordered a seafood tower to start and I had steak frites. Perfect. Service was great. I’ll be back

   Sehr gute Küche in einem schönen Restaurant, typisch für Europa und etwas besonderes in New York. Essen war sehr gut Ur die Croissants sind leider gefroren und dann aufgewärmt, das würde in Frankreich nicht akzeptiert werden. Das geht besser.

   Had a fantastic time at the bar with Jeef and the entire bar staff. He was incredibly knowledgeable and such a fun time. I recommend the soup and sorbet. Their Manhattan is one of the best in the city. A nice place to have a solo date.

    Dining on Christmas Day was always going to be interesting, but I have to admit that I was expecting more from the service that we received. The Host Station staff lacked any warmth, smiles or joviality. This was a disappointing start to our experience. Our Wait Staff was ok, nothing special. The food was very good, however, it was disappointing to find the Roasted Leg of Lamb had run out, which was the dish we were most looking forward to. All in all, La Grand Boucherie was a mediocre experience for what we paid. Based on this experience I don’t think I would bother to return.
