   Sarah can help with wine selection, the waiter can explain the food items and choices, the pace of service was good, and the ambiance is very nice. We went for lunch.

   The dinner was outstanding. We were on the porch. It was windy and a bit cool, but they had heaters and blankets. We liked that the tables were not cramped and we could have a nice talk. Occasionally we heard others laughing, but it wasn't annoying. We shared gourgettes and the pate trio for starters, and they were excellent. The server Alex offered extra costini for the pate, which was needed and appreciated. For dinner we shared an amazing bouillabaise. The seafood was fresh and the broth was delicious. Although the serving was for two, we couldn't finish it. Happy to take it home! We split an excellent creme brulee for dessert. Overall, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. If we lived closer, we would be regulars because there were so many amazing choices on the menu. Also should mention that while Alex was our server, there were others who stopped by to bring dishes and check on us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A real gem of a place!

   Authentic French cuisine presented in the lovely historic district of Lincolnville. We dined on the outdoor porch on a beautiful Spring evening, which was wonderful. Intimidating Wine Spectator wine list made navigable through their friendly and well informed sommelier. Parking available too! La Nouvelle is not to be missed.

   When an inside table was available, I was able to change my reservation after I had already canceled. The ambiance is elegant, quiet, and intimate . The service impeccable. My wait staff didn’t bat an eye when I asked for a HOT glass into which to pour my cold beer (my British blood prefers unchilled beer). My Branzino had a wonderful sauce, as did my partner’s steak frite. Espresso and Cafe Americano accompanied blueberry tartelettes to finish a perfect meal!
