Located on the 5th floor of the Austin Proper Hotel, La Piscina Ceviches & Fajitas is a convivial poolside restaurant and bar serving Texas-inspired Mexican cuisine. The vibrant, open space overlooks the downtown Austin bustle as groups convene over family-style platters, ceviches and table-top sizzling fajitas, with fresh seafood grilled over a wood fire and house-made tortillas from an open comal. The bar provides an accompanying selection of frozen margaritas, native Mexican spirits, small-batch tequila and mezcal as well as an assortment of outdoor-friendly snacks.

    Food and service were great but I was so disappointed they didn’t have the clarified margarita anymore. It is the best thing on the menu.

    This used to be one of my favorites but after tonight I won't go back. The food was terrible. I had a salad with tuna and it was all so salty. The dressing was terrible and I hardly ate it. The ambience and service was good but it got very loud as the evening went on. Bad experience!
