The Restaurant is a must if you like game dishes. We had the four course menu they propose. The boar stew as an appetizer was excellent and not what you typically get in a north american restaurant. Also the other dishes - lobster bisque, duo of game and crème brulée provide variety and where well prepared.

Old school Eurostyle restaurant in Vieux Montreal/Vieux Port emphasizing Quebec- and Canada-sourced ingredients. Meat and seafood strong on menu with classic French preparations dominant. "Meatatarians" will revel in menu but plenty of ocean choices as well. Outstanding wild game selections -- reflected in name -- feature wild boar ragout, wapiti (elk), venison and bison dishes. Service is restrained and excellent. Menu and wines are moderately priced and represent fine values. Great people-watching from windows on Rue Saint-Paul. Obvious alternative to crepes/pizza/burgers tourist joints in vicinity. Don't let temporary construction down centre of street keep you away, this is a find. Co-owned with Portuguese restaurant Solmar next door.

Food is just good, not close to very good, just good. The four of us eat mussels, gazpacho, French onion soup, bison, elk, peppered steak and duck confit. Mussels, onion soup and gazpacho were good the duck confit was the worst of them all, not crispy baked with wet none crispy skin. The bison and elk were cooked perfect, but they are smothered in sauce and all you taste is sauce. The meat can be anything, way too strong and to much sauce. The steak was the best dinner. The wine menu is good with very good prices. The prices are fair and wish we would have tried the lamb shank.

Very good meal, nice ambience in Old Montreal, outdoor street watching seating if you desire to do a little people watching or comfortable seating inside. A wait staff that knows what they are doing and have been doing so for some time.

We were six of us. We were not very impressed. Very slow service had to wait for drinks and food forever. The food was not what we were expecting. Onion soup was not hot. The other dishes were not served hot either. Price too high for what you get.

Very good location for people watching. Get the inside table with the corner view. The service was very good. Clearly experienced and old-school staff - rare and appreciated. The food was good and the pork medallion was excellent.
