   Outstanding, perfectly prepared cuisine in a lovely seaside setting! Service was excellent. The waitress was very nice and upbeat. Throughout the meal, she was very attentive without being overbearing. The wine she recommended was wonderful. The tuna was very fresh and delicious. The octopus was tender and the sauce was terrific. The paella was even better than last year. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake which was a wonderful way to end a spectacular meal.

   Perfect! Stunning setting right on the water, delightful waitstaff, fabulous menu selections, and exquisite food combined to make our dinner experience one of the very best we’ve ever had! Bravo to Alex and her team! You are all superstars!

   The food was delicious!! Never had better Yellow Fin tuna, cooked just right. The atmosphere was great for a date & wait staff great but spread thin .

   A stunning view- recommend to get there for sunset. An interesting menu- not all Spanish. The duck confit, lamb meatballs and main- paella all good. Service was attentive to my gluten allergy and gave us lots of attention for the first half of the meal. Once restaurant filled up- service fell off. Had to repeatedly ask for more water for example. Worst decaf cappuccino I’ve ever had- not sure what happened there. Bit expensive so value was rated a three stars. I would go again as it was a fun and lively spot.

   Had the lobster croquettes, two specials: scallops and tuna tartare, and the Yellowfin tuna main— all delicious! My favorite was the tuna tartare special. Wow!

   We had an outstanding experience at La Tapa twice on this trip. The food was excellent and interesting. The service was perfect, the staff friendly and attentive. Loved having the beach as a background, especially during sunset. Would definitely recommend.

    I recommend getting seated shortly before sunset as the dining room overlooks the beach, bay and ferry terminal which is simply magical. The reason I rated the food as a 4 and not 5 is due a pork dish I ordered was very chewy, medium rare (which may be ok as they served pork medium rare). The meal was returned which an adjacent table returned the same meal. The appetizers and my girlfriend’s meal was excellent! Drinks were ok and not so generous for martini’s. Dessert was also delicious. Overall the experience was exceptional except for my meal which may have been an exception due to its excellent reputation
