La Terrazza di Roma is a traditional Italian restaurant located in Marina Vallarta, in the lovely city of Puerto Vallarta. The restaurant was founded in 1993 by a group of Italian and Mexican friends aiming to bring the flavors of Italy to Marina Vallarta. It is a family-owned and operated restaurant, with hearty trattoria style dishes, served in a lively, and entertaining space. “La Terrazza” is well known for its outstanding deck over the water, offering outside dining every day.
In our menu you will find classic Italian dishes, as well as signature plates, paired perfectly with a carefully selected wine list. The menu features a wide variety of delicious homemade pastas, fish and seafood dishes, as well as gourmet thin-crusted pizzas.
We welcome you to join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

    Disappointed that after booking two months in advance and interactions in advance that we were not given a table out over the water as requested and confirmed. Instead we were back by the water and plate station which led to some noise distractions during our visit. They provide music over the water area but unable to hear due to location. Wait staff very kind and helpful otherwise. Food was quite good. I would return even with the snafu.

    The outdoor atmosphere was great and location was great. Food was not - our shrimp was way overdone and the pizza dough was over kneaded. The service was not as good as we have experienced at other restaurants.

    We travel to PV generally twice or three times annually. We always make it a point to reserve a table and bring friends and family to this wonderful dining experience. Food is excellent with the menu offering unique with very tasty dishes. Ambiance and setting are very relaxing. A must visit if you’re in the Marina area.

    We were there last year and service and food was exceptional. However, our visit this time was disappointing. We had reservations. The hostess, table and server Juan Jose were great. We felt rushed to order, eat and pay so that our table could be used again. Main courses arrived when we were eating our appetizer. The main course was ok, but lacked flavor. I expect exceptional food for the price we paid (2500+ pesos) Otherwise, the dining experience was ok. Not sure if we'll try again in the future or not. Will need to be convinced.

    The food and service were great. The guy playing the guitar was amazing. We had a table over the water, very romantic!!
