   This used to be one of our favourite restaurants mainly due to the location, service and food but alas not anymore. We had a reservation and arrived on time. The hostess didn’t ask where we wanted to sit and led us to the enclosed patio, which is nice in the summer but has plastic chair seating and is quite noisy. When we didn’t want to sit in the enclosed patio she next sat us right beside the entrance to the patio. The restaurant was not busy and there were several other better located tables. We started out with a 75$ bottle of wine and shared a $22 appetizer. They didn’t have the wine we normally get but the substitute was good, as was the appetizer. For mains we had a 30$ seafood pasta (great taste and value) and a 59$ steak (ok taste and not so great value). The waiter initially assigned was attentive but then left and we barely saw the waitress assigned to replace him, waiting 20 minutes after finishing our main course before being asked if we wanted anything else. Unfortunately we have found the prices have increased significantly in the last couple of years with a decrease in quality and service. This was a birthday celebration, we anticipated spending around 200$ before taxes and tips for two people, were our expectations too high?

   As with our previous visits to this restaurant, we had a great experience. The ambiance, the food and service are very good. Portions are very generous.

   Had an amazing experience with La Vecchia. Food was phenomenal, service was excellent, and the ambiance was amazing. Highly recommend this place.

   Absolutely wonderful experience overall! Great atmosphere, Alex was the greatest server ever & the food & drinks were exceptional! Will definitely be returning & telling others!

   We enjoyed a wonderful late lunch at La Vecchia to celebrate our 7-year anniversary. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We shared the Bruschetta, which was the right balance of crunchy and soft, and full of flavour. I had the Linguine Mare, perfectly cooked with rich, delicious seafood, while my wife enjoyed the Chicken Panini, which was beautifully prepared. Our waitress was amazing—attentive, warm, and made us feel truly special. To top it off, they surprised us with a sparkler in our Tiramisu, adding a memorable touch to our celebration. Phenomenal food, outstanding service, and a beautiful ambiance. Highly recommended!

   Side vegetables were tons of rapini and carrots. We were told that's what's in season and all they have. It was bad.

   Excellent food, some of the best Italian I’ve had outside of Italy. Shout out to Lea for great recommendations and service that went above and beyond.
