Delicious food and creative drinks on a quiet, breezy patio. Plenty of options for dairy-free diets, which was the original draw (plus high recs from friends). The entire waitstaff were amazing. In particular Jonathan, who provided an incredible custom meal and was a delight to talk with while learning more about the dishes and their ingredients. Will go back whenever I find myself in San Antonio again. 100 out of 10 :)

We really enjoyed the atmosphere of Ladino! Simple yet laid back. I loved their corner booth option for more privacy and fun. Our favorite items were the roasted sweet potatoes, sourdough pita, and saffron chicken!

We had a fantastic experience at Ladino. Upon arrival, we were greeted and the hostess quickly checked us in for our reservation. The ambiance was inviting and set the tone for a great meal. Our server was patient and welcoming, taking the time to share a bit of the restaurant’s background since it was our first visit. She also offered thoughtful recommendations. We opted to order à la carte and chose the spicy feta dip, saffron chicken, and mushroom shawarma. The flavor profiles complemented each other beautifully, with just the right amount of spice. Every dish was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Throughout the meal, our waters were promptly refilled, and the service remained attentive. Overall, Ladino delivered an excellent dining experience, and we’re looking forward to returning to experience the Mezas de Alegria!

Finally getting around to this review after another great visit on Sunday. The service is always outstanding, friendly, welcoming, and never pretentious. The food is next level. If it’s your first time, go for the Mezas de Allegria and let the kitchen take the lead, it’s the best way to try a variety of creative dishes. This time, I mixed it up with Spicy Feta and Turshi (both a must), Summer Salad (super fresh and well balanced), and Lamb Adana (definitely ordering again). For the Mangal, we had the Mushroom Shawarma (surprisingly meaty texture, packed with flavor) and the Wagyu Denver Steak (rich, bold, and worth it). Easily one of the best spots in San Antonio. Highly recommend
