Located on the corner of 2nd and Guadalupe Streets in downtown Austin (a block away from Town Lake & Moody Theater), in a historic 1873 Victorian building once home to J.P. Schneider general store, Lamberts features modern Texas classics including expertly smoked barbecue, grilled prime steaks, simple yet elegant apps and mains, and homestyle sides. We are open daily for lunch and dinner.

The two-story dining room features an open kitchen, two bars (with one of the best whiskey selections in town) as well as an outdoor patio surrounding our Mill Scale smoker. The design includes black leather banquettes and repurposed sinker pine table tops. The vibe is laid-back Austin and not afraid to get a little rowdy at times—especially when there's live music Upstairs at Lamberts.

*If booking an outdoor table, please note that patio seating is weather contingent. During those times, we will do our best to accommodate indoor seating depending on availability.

    Join us on Friday, February 14 for a Valentine's Day celebration as we welcome THOMAS CSORBA to the stage to perform classic country love songs and originals. Bring a date, bring friends, bring anyone! Thomas & his band will perform two 60 minute sets with dinner seatings available for each. Guests may reserve tables for groups of 2, 4 or 6 and enjoy full dinner service in an intimate performance setting. Doors will open 5:30pm for the first performance and 8pm for the second show. Note: dinner & drinks are sold separately. Tickets are non-refundable. All sales are final.

    Best Brisket in Texas perhaps the world. Loved the lemon meringue pie and the green beans tempura. Service is professional and friendly.

    Food was absolutely terrific. We ate the brisket and the hamburger. The fries and the coleslaw were incredible. The price including dessert and drinks was only a bit more than a famous place down the way and this was so much better

    Great food. Pricier than most BBQ restaurants because the food is a bit more upscale. Very loud because of live music

    Overall amazing. The hanger steak was very delicious. Cooked perfectly. The brisket was the best we’ve ever had. Our server was amazing.

    Wish I was writing a more positive review but my recent experience at Lamberts was just meh. Steak was overcooked, the service was poor and the ambience was ok.
