   Connie, James, Scott and Patrick made the evening memorable. Our favorites were the tuna crudo, filet mignon, and prime rib.

   We wanted a nice dinner before going to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Lawry’s Prime Rib closed down so we decided to try The Landmark Prime Rib at the Warwick Melrose Hotel. They didn’t disappoint. We started in The Library (hotel bar) for cocktails before going to The Landmark for dinner. Beef tenderloin crostini as an appetizer. For the main course I had the Prime Rib, wife and daughter each had the special of the day, pasta with lobster that included a glass of wine. We finished the meal with crème brûlée and glasses of Port. Beautiful historic hotel with a beautiful dining room. Attentive staff, great service and great food. We will definitely return.

   A little disappointing. I eat at the Melrose occasionally and for special occasions. However, this particular day, they were short handed. I also missed Sarah who worked at the front desk for so long.

   Great service by Dustin. Excellent food, as always. We celebrated a birthday and they made it very special. The Prime Rib was delicious. If anyone remembers Lawry’s Prime Rib (long gone), this Prime Rib is even better!

    We hoped this would be a good experience despite the negative reviews from some earlier guests. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My wife and I took our son and his wife for an anniversary dinner. The ambiance is charming. The wait staff could not have been more helpful and understanding. The music in the background was perfect. The rolling cart could not move between tables, so the food might as well have been fixed in the kitchen. The effect was lost. The food: my wife and I ordered the least expensive cut of roast beef, expecting it to be cut thin. We should have asked. It came as a medium cut, which was thicker than we wanted. It was chewy, and the potatoes were cold. The salad came as a required side with three dressings available. It had little lettuce. Our son and his wife ordered fillet mignon. Our son thought it was too chewy, so the waiter offered to substitute a cut of roast beef from the cart. It, too, was unetable.
